Lottie McMurdy

We are proud to award a grant to Lottie, a gifted young dancer from Bedford who trains at Kilburn School of Dance. Lottie dances six days a week, performs in 11 festival routines, and recently achieved distinctions in three Grade 5 exams. She is now preparing for further exams and an audition for a prestigious Ballet Associates programme. Our grant will support her journey by funding a custom tutu for her ballet solo and contributing to advanced training opportunities over the next year.

Driven by Dance.

Lottie’s dance journey began in Clapham at just three years old, where her natural talent and love for movement quickly stood out. From her earliest classes at a local dance school, she showed an eagerness to learn and a deep connection to the art.

In pursuit of greater challenges and broader training, Lottie transitioned to the Kilburn School of Dance, where she immersed herself in a range of styles and competitive festivals. Since then, she has achieved distinctions in multiple dance exams, advanced to Pointe, and now performs an impressive eleven routines across solos, duets, and groups.

With unwavering dedication: dancing six days a week and rarely walking when she could dance instead, Lottie continues to grow as a performer, driven by a fierce passion and a clear vision for her future in dance.

Dance Grant.

We have awarded Lottie a grant of £780 to support her continued development as a dancer. The funding will contribute to the creation of a custom tutu for her upcoming ballet solo and help cover the costs of additional Ballet Associates training over the next year.

Lottie’s commitment, talent, and drive to excel are clear in everything she does, and we are proud to support her as she continues to grow and pursue her dreams in dance.
